Toogether - Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Toogether collects the following information to provide its services:

• Account information: Name, email address, profile photo (from Google/Apple sign-in)
• Travel data: Trip names, dates, destinations, budgets, schedules
• Photos: Photos you upload, along with EXIF metadata (date, GPS location)
• Expense data: Amounts, categories, descriptions of shared expenses

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide trip planning and photo sharing features
• To calculate expense settlements among trip members
• To back up your original photos to Google Drive (with your permission)
• To display location information from photo metadata

3. Data Storage

• Firebase (Google Cloud): Account data, trip data, photo thumbnails
• Google Drive: Original photos (only when connected by you)
• Your device: Original photos are stored locally on your phone

4. Data Sharing

Your data is shared only with trip members you invite. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen. Upon deletion:

• Your account and profile information are permanently removed
• Your photos are removed from shared trips
• Your expense records are deleted
• Your schedules are deleted

6. Children's Privacy

Toogether is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
